NORTH CANTON, Ohio – March 8, 2017 – The North Canton Chamber of Commerce voted unanimously to appoint Squirrels LLC Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Andrew Gould to its board of directors.
Gould will help the 15-member board oversee Chamber of Commerce events, new-business initiatives and member engagement.
“My goal is to try to widen the appeal of the Chamber of Commerce and its events to a younger audience,” Gould said. “I want more people to understand what the chamber is, why it exists and what it can do for them. That will help create an environment where more companies like Squirrels can start up and thrive in North Canton.”
Founded in 2008 in North Canton, Squirrels LLC is an industry leader in screen-mirroring technology in education and business. Squirrels products are used to wirelessly stream and mirror content between devices in hundreds of thousands of classrooms and conference rooms every day. Gould oversees day-to-day operations of Squirrels’ rapidly expanding team, now nearing 40 employees. He also guides the Business Development, Quality Assurance, Support, Finance and Web Development departments.
Gould is a 2005 graduate of Green High School and 2009 graduate of the University of Akron. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems and a minor in business management. Gould is proud to have created and grown a company in North Canton that is known around the world.
