NORTH CANTON, Ohio – November 29, 2016 – Squirrels LLC, a pioneer in wireless education software, today announced the addition of Chief Revenue Officer Matthew J. Krise. Krise will merge existing sales efforts and team members into a single sales organization and provide leadership in Squirrels’ continued expansion into the education technology industry.
“Krise has an extensive and successful sales career in education,” Squirrels cofounder Andrew Gould said. “His sales expertise and education industry knowledge will be valuable to Squirrels as we continue to push our presence in classrooms locally, nationally and around the world.”
Krise comes to Squirrels after spending five years as National Director of Sales at Apex Learning in Seattle, where he managed sales of digital course curriculum and interventions. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Field Operations at Collaborative Learning Inc. in Chicago, where he managed field sales, the Professional Services team and business development partnerships.

Krise’s education sales career also includes Director of Sales positions at Scientific Learning in Oakland, California, LeapFrog SchoolHouse in Emeryville, California, and Big Chalk in Philadelphia.
Earlier in his career, Krise held various roles at Apex Learning, GALAXY Classroom in Phoenix, and Kendall/Hunt Publishing in Dubuque, Iowa.
Krise graduated from Cleveland State University in Cleveland with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He has served on the Business Advisory Board of the National Superintendents Roundtable since 2005. Krise is also affiliated with Horace Mann League, American Association of School Administrators, National Alliance of Black School Educators, Urban Superintendents Association of America, Mid-American Association of School Superintendents, Suburban School Superintendents of America, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, International Society for Technology in Education and the Center for Quality Leadership.
